Veterans and their families are invited to join us for music, food, fun, informational booths and a great celebration of their dedication and service to our country. We are committed to helping make each service member’s transition from active military status as seamless as possible.

The St. Louis VA medical center is proud to host our Fourth Welcome Home Celebration to honor those military personnel who are returning home from service in the combat zones of Iraq & Afghanistan.  We want to thank each service member for serving our country so gallantly. Although long overdue, we also extend our welcome and gratitude to our other combat era veterans including Vietnam and Gulf War.

Veterans and their families are invited to join us for music, food, fun, informational booths and a great celebration of their dedication and service to our country.  We are committed to helping make each service member’s transition from active military status as seamless as possible.

A limited number of display booths are available for Veteran Service Organizations and community groups /organization that have programs that support veterans and their families. 

The St. Louis VA Medical Center Welcome Home Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, May 21th, 2011 from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.  This event will be held at The Soldiers Memorial, 1315 Chestnut, St. Louis, MO ( Chestnut at 14th Street.)  The formal medallion presentation program begins at 10:45a.m.

Your participation in today’s festivities helps celebrate the tremendous service and dedication these and all veterans have paid to our country.
