St. Louis, MO GRECC Program

Providers care for older veterans with various geriatric syndromes. Members of the GRECC staff have established a Geriatric Evaluation Unit, a Nursing Home Care Unit, Palliative Care, Hospice Care, and a Home-Based Primary Care. In Addition, associated pharmacy programs run a Coumadin clinic, general pharmacology clinic, and medication reduction programs. There is a focus on the problems of frailty in African Americans.
